Meet the Band: Descriptors
The Band Descriptors have a new release in 2023– their first in more than a decade. “Scoring Criteria”, boldly released as double album of 36 tracks, brings IELTS-music that will sound familiar to those who’ve known and loved their last release, “Public Version”, while making their messages clearer and accessible to the next generation of fans. Indeed, the Candied Dates – as followers of the Descriptors call themselves – could get a lot more out of this collection when they understand and heed what it’s saying.
Let’s meet the band. They’ve got a bit
older as compared to when they were newly signed to Cambridge/BC/IDP Records. Let's remember the band, Descriptors!
The lead guitarists remain two brothers named Task, who will actually play the
same instrument at any given show. The older brother, Achievement, starts off
with his focus on accuracy and requirements. When his younger brother, Rez
Ponse, takes over, we hear an overall more position-based and opinionated tone.
Words cannot describe the inimitable vocalist and lyricist Lexi Kalre-Source. Born to a poor family of limited resources, she’s overcome her vocabulary dependency struggles to earn the incredible range and precision she shares today.
The organization and progression of the
Descriptors’s sound comes from the Coe brothers, bassist and percussionist, Herence and Hesion respectively.
Lastly, but never forgotten, the Descriptors are punctuated by the silver-haired sweethearts, Gramma “Tea-Caller” Ainge and Gramma “Tea-Call-a-Cure” Racie.

What the Fook?
This advice comes from a guy whose name I used to make fun of... while informally coaching him on what he needed to do in task One
Here's the advice I'd given Fook.
